We have got the Croup :(

I still can not believe we just got a whole foot of snow. This needs to end already! My poor dog can barely walk, nor breathe when the snow is that high!

Poor Bradley came down with the Croup over the weekend. He has already taken all the medication he was prescribed but sadly hes still feeling crummy. He is barely eating, but we are forcing in enough Milk to keep him hydrated and getting some nutrients at least. We think his fever is gone as well. He was constantly every couple hours spiking a fever to 102+ from Sat-Mon. I have yet to see how today goes!

I am not sure if he was feeling slightly better last night at dinner time or not but he actually ate some of a meal with us for the first time since Friday. He is also making it pretty clear that I need to go out and buy him a childrens utensil set. He is clearly ready! He uses a spoon for messy things alot, but last night we cooked ham and as soon as it was chopped up and put on his high chair he freaked out pointing at Brandon's plate and fork. Not having any forks his size that will actually peirce through the ham was a problem, but we found a clear plastic throw-away fork and he was as happy as a clam. No wonder hes been freaking out at dinner time lately, he wants to eat like us!

I got a short video of him eating with the fork, I didn't want to distract him too much.

Heres a few of Baby Bradley trying to combat his fever.

These are from last week.

I had to put this one up, he got a hold of this gatorade bottle and was addicted!

And this would be Brandon and I being stupid at the dogs expense. This cape was from a Valentines Day stuffed animal.

I'll toss this on here as well incase anyones actually interested. Its basically just of Bradley playing.

Wonderful Wednesday

Well, heres an update for those of you who I rarely talk to in person.  Things are going well here.  Bradley is fully recovered from his ER trip last week.  Thankfully it was a nice smooth healing process.  He shows no signs of pain at all!  yay!  :)   We are back on normal foods and I swear it did not slow him down at all.  He was in pain for the first day then from there on out was back to his normal crazy dangerous self.   What am I in store for?!   What was I thinking having a boy.... lol

Here are some photos from a day or two after when it was healing.  I am so happy they were lower and actually in his lip rather than up higher through his skin.  That would have been worse.

I will have to upload new photos later.....  I shall return soon enough....

Goodnight!

Trip to the ER!

Sadly we had our first non-allergy related trip to the ER this morning.

Bradley fell and smacked his mouth. His two front teeth drove right through his lip and came out the front. I couldn't believe he actually did that, there was so much blood. We spent a whole 2.5 hours WAITING in the ER before the doctor looked at him. It was insanely busy.

Hes been down for his nap for quite some time now and I am really dreading feeding him lunch. He is supposed to only have liquid food for 2 days and we have to clean out the holes in his lips with a q-tip after every single feeding to get the food out. UGH, i know he won't let me do that, theres no way this will be an easy few days. He screams with drinking anything also.

I feel so terrible.

Go Rescue Pack!

Not too much going on here. Bradley is just working on his words more and more. Every time he comes home from daycare he seems to be putting different words or sounds together. I knew the other children would influence him, but I wasn't sure if two days a week really would do anything. Currently his vocabulary seems to consist mainly of:

Dad
Mom
Milk
Dog
No
Oh no
Oh yea
Baby

I thought he said more but maybe I am just having a brain fart on anything else.
Well, lets see...

My huge Diego fan finally has gotten his first rescue pack! Go rescue pack! It can turn into a bike, a kayak, a parasail, a car. (Well at least it can on the tv show) lol. :) Oddly enough, he actually does like to wear it.

You got the picture right?

Good, lets go!

Here we are relaxing before bedtime. The kitchen floor is more comfortable than you'd think.

Being cute in "my" kitchen
Man...theres never anything to eat in the fridge....

Another Snow day

Oh joy, its snowing again. At least Bradley likes it.

We went outside when it has just first started hoping he wouldn't slip around too much!

Who says I HAVE to keep books in this bucket?!

Almost Superbowl Sunday!

Yea yea yea, I know its been forever since I have posted. I don't seem to be on the computer much anymore. Its been two weeks now that Bradley has been in day care two days a week and he is doing fantastic. All the kids love him and he could care less that I am not there. How wonderful!
I also did not discover his love for matchbox cars until he started day care as well! He is the youngest one there so he "tests" out all the toys for the future. Well, Brandon went shopping this morning and bought him his own set of cars. I still can not get over how much he likes them! He refuses to put them down and yesterday at daycare he took a nap with one in each hand refusing to let go. Go figure.
Here is a video of him last night playing with the two cars he took for the ride home. He really trys to say "vroom vroom" when playing with them. Comes out more like "boom boom" but it works!

Here he is waving his victory cars he took home.

And here he is passed out from all the excitement.
Hope everyone has fun partying it up tomorrow!

Video Day!

Not much new to report. He just seems to be getting more and more demanding every day! Whats new :)

The first video is just of Bradley splashing around and enjoying bath time.

The second video is of Bradley's first "successful" attempts at using a fork. I can't wait until the day he can use one properly!

Last but not least, if you are ever unsure of when nap time is... look for one of these tantrums.
